In the third quarter of 2024, the top racing games on the Android platform in Australia showed dynamic trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Here's a closer look at how these popular games performed, based on data from Sensor Tower.

CSR 2 Realistic Drag Racing, developed by Zynga, experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, beginning at around $6.5K in early July and reaching a peak of approximately $9.3K by the end of August. The downloads for this app saw a gradual rise mid-quarter, topping out at 899 in the last week of July. Meanwhile, the weekly active users consistently grew from 1.9K in early July to about 2.5K by the end of September.

Pocket Champs: 3D Racing Games from Madbox saw a fluctuating revenue pattern, starting at $5.2K and dipping to a low of $2.8K mid-August before recovering to $4.1K by the end of September. Downloads showed a similar pattern with a significant increase towards the quarter's end, reaching 1.1K. Weekly active users, however, saw a decline from 4.7K in early July to 2.8K by September's close.

Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 4K and closing the quarter at approximately the same level.

Asphalt Legends Unite from Gameloft SE had a mixed performance, with revenue peaking at $2.2K in late July then dropping to $990 by the end of September. Downloads and active users showed similar trends, with downloads peaking at 1K in mid-July and active users starting at 1.6K in July, decreasing to just over 1K by the quarter's end.
